1881 $1 MS66 PCGS. CAC. Attractive ocean-blue, plum-red, and butter-gold toning graces both sides. This crisply struck and lustrous silver dollar has smooth fields and a clean cheek. Much rarer in the present grade than its popular and low-mintage Carson City cousin. PCGS reports five numerically finer examples (5/17).
