1881-CC $1 MS67 NGC. Although examples of the 1881-CC were not released to the same extent as the three subsequent Carson City issues, enough coins were sold through the GSA distributions to make Superb Gems collectible. Fully struck design features are readily appreciable, as is the thick, cartwheel frost that covers immaculately preserved, untoned surfaces. Only four finer grading events at NGC (5/17).
