Morgan Dollars
1890-CC $1 MS65 PCGS. VAM-3, Very Far Date, Doubled 90. The 1890-CC had no great part in the GSA releases of the 1970s, meaning the majority of Mint State coins were distributed in the 1940s and 1950s. This brilliant and lustrous example shows excellent eye appeal with vibrant cartwheel luster. The strike is sharp but not full, a trifle incomplete at the centers. Still, abrasions are limited to a few nominal luster grazes and tiny marks and the eye appeal is terrific. Scarce in Gem condition and rare any finer, with only 16 finer examples certified by PCGS (5/17).
