Proof Morgan Dollars
1886 $1 PR63 NGC. CAC. The 1886 proof Morgan is not particularly rare in PR63, although a CAC-approved coin in any grade is. This piece is the only Select non-Cameo proof with a CAC green label. A faint dusting of champagne toning prevents cameo contrast, but the mirrored fields show only faint, well-hidden hairlines that determine the grade. Deeper gold, amber, and blue border toning surrounds the peripheries. Housed in a prior generation holder. CAC: 1 in 63, 12 finer (5/17).
