Republic 8 Reales 1853/2 Ga-JG MS61 NGC, Guadalajara mint, KM377.6, DP-Ga35. An elusive issue with its rarity compounded by both the less-frequently-encountered overdate and the Mint State grade. A small inclusion at the outer left portion of the rays as well as several PVC flecks (easily removable with conservation) are noted for accuracy's sake. As the second finest example in the NGC census, this coin should attract significant collector attention.
