THESSALY, Atrax. Circa 375-350 BC. Æ Trichalkon (17mm, 4.19 g, 3h). Horseman galloping left, pursuing bull running left, the bull's head turned towards the viewer / Bearded head of Lapith Atrax right. Rogers –; BCD Thessaly II 53; HGC 4, 348. VF, dark green patina, some pitting on obverse. Extremely rare, apparently the fourth known (the others: CNG 79, lot 183; BCD Thessaly I 1024; and BCD Thessaly II 53).
