Royal Canadian mint, KM-SS41. The rarest of the three varieties of Specimen sets that were produced in 1947 and thought to have been struck in quantities as little as 12 sets. Because all the denominations received a light lacquering at the mint, their color and luster remain essentially as-made. Imperceptible handling defines the grade. A rare chance to acquire a full set.
Ex. Pittman Collection (Akers 8/1999); Prager Collection of Canadian Specimen Coins (Heritage, April 2014, lot 24254).
