1662 2PENCE Oak Tree Twopence, Small 2, AU58+ PCGS. Noe-29, W-240, Salmon 1-A, R.4. The smallest of the Oak Tree Massachusetts silver coinage. This boldly detailed twopence is nearly in Mint State, showing just a bit of high-point friction on the top of some letters. The recesses exhibit deep blue-gray toning with slight die roughness in the fields. The reverse is perfectly centered on the planchet, while the obverse is off-center toward 8 o'clock, with the M in MASATHVSETS partly off the flan. Listed on page 40 of the 2018 Guide Book.
