Indian Cents
1888/7 1C Snow-1, FS-301, XF40 NGC. Snow-1 is an extremely popular and scarce variety. This lightly circulated example clearly shows the "ear" of the underlying 7 at the top-left corner of the final 8, and the bottom tip of the 7 at the base of the 8. The diagnostic rim cud above the TE in UNITED at 9 o'clock is plain. The coin is well-detailed and exhibits smooth chocolate-brown surfaces save for an area of darker patina near the ES in STATES and a small tick near the tip of the bust truncation.
