Proof Indian Cents
1877 1C PR63 Red and Brown PCGS. This is a razor-sharp proof example of the 1877 Indian cent, which is rare in high grade as a circulation strike. This Red and Brown proof exhibits mainly pink-gold color overall and modestly reflective fields. No carbon spotting is seen. The proof 1877 Indian cent comes from an unrecorded mintage, although the Guide Book uses an estimate of 1,250-1,500 pieces.
