Lincoln Cents
1909-S 1C VDB MS66 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. A well-preserved, partially red example of this key Lincoln cent issue. Amber and golden toning on each side displays a faint woodgrain pattern when viewed beneath a loupe, although considerable golden luster emerges from beneath. Hints of cherry and green are also seen at certain angles. The strike is slightly soft on the portrait but sharp elsewhere. Population: 63 in 66 Red and Brown, 1 finer. CAC: 17 in 66, 0 finer (6/17).
