Lincoln Cents
1913-D 1C MS66 Red PCGS. An astoundingly low number number of 1913-D cents survive in MS66 Red. Compare the 26 examples at PCGS and NGC combined and contrast that with the more famous 1909-S VDB (258 pieces). This is clearly a major condition rarity and underappreciated as such. Pumpkin-gold surfaces show pristine fields and needle-sharp detail on the obverse. The usual areas of softness appear over UNUM and the O in ONE. Population: 22 in 66 (3 in 66+) Red, 0 finer (6/17).
