Proof Liberty Nickels
1883 5C No Cents PR67 Cameo PCGS. The 1883 No Cents nickel was widely saved at the time of issue and is a common coin even today. However, the proofs of the issue are no more available (and considerably less so than other dates), with considerable demand from proof type collectors. This piece shows just the faintest accent of rose and lilac toning over each side, and the fields are deeply mirrored with thick mint frost over the devices. A Superb Gem example of this popular proof issue and unexcelled in numeric grade at either service. Population: 26 in 67 Cameo, 0 finer (6/17).
