Buffalo Nickels
1937-D 5C Three-Legged, FS-901, MS63 PCGS. This well-known error was produced by overzealous die polishing that removed part of the bison's front leg. It has long been considered a part of the Buffalo nickel series and is avidly pursued by collectors. This satiny example has a layer of steel-gray and rose patina over each side and there are no marks worthy of mention.
