Early Half Dimes
1797 H10C 15 Stars, V-2, LM-1, R.3, VF35 PCGS. The lone 15 Stars Obverse variety of the 1797 Draped Bust half dime. This piece shows little wear considering the grade, with the biggest weakness on the central portrait and the eagle due chiefly to a deficient strike -- common on this issue. The shoulder and forehead curls -- better identifiers of wear -- are well-detailed. Milky-gray interiors are surrounded by vivid rainbow border toning.
