Mercury Dimes
1921-D 10C MS64 NGC. Barely more than 1 million Mercury dimes were manufactured at the Denver Mint in 1921. Most resources were directed toward the resumption of Morgan dollar production. This radiant near-Gem has areas of brilliance that mix with splashes of rainbow toning around the borders. Strongly defined with virtual separation of the central bands. Softness is limited to the forecurls. A loupe is required to bring microscopic marks into view. Housed in a rare pre-hologram holder. Census: 44 in 64, 23 finer (6/17).
