1907 25C PR66 NGC. CAC. This modestly contrasted Premium Gem proof shows warm golden centers and vivid violet and blue borders. The eagle's right (facing) talons exhibit the only noticeable weakness. The 1907 proof is not seen nearly as often in high grade as the NGC Census would suggest, and the report likely reflects a number of resubmissions. Census: 58 in 66 (2 in 66+), 31 finer. CAC: 3 in 66, 12 finer (6/17).
