Colonials
1787 COPPER Nova Eborac Copper, Seated Left, Breen-986, W-5755, R.3, XF45 PCGS. Of the various colonial issues classified under the New York Coppers heading, the Nova Eboracs are the most available and visible pieces. They are ideal candidates for basic colonial type collections, or for collectors who desire a few representative colonial-era coins. This Choice XF example has intermingled tan, olive, and steel-brown patina with traces of cartwheel luster. The strike is strong, although imperfectly centered as usual for this series. Listed on page 70 of the 2018 Guide Book. Population: 19 in 45, 30 finer (6/17).
