Morgan Dollars
1891-O $1 MS64+ PCGS. Bluish-green and brownish-orange patina gravitates to the margins of this high-end near-Gem. This issue is usually weak in the centers, but the obverse strike does result in a fair amount of detail in the hair over Liberty's ear. While Standish (2014) writes of the 1891-O that: "A considerable number have flat, unattractive rims caused by improper die spacing," the current coin does not appear to reveal this to a great degree, especially as the dentilation is fully delineated and mostly separate from the outer rim.
