Morgan Dollars
1892-O $1 MS65 PCGS. Remarkably brilliant and lustrous, this 1892-O has frosted eye appeal that trumps even the microscopic roller marks that bulldoze the hair definition over the ear. The strike is incomplete on the eagle's breast as well -- virtually unavoidable for the issue, but hardly the focus of the coin given its exceptional visual impact. The surfaces are free of any mentionable marks or post-Mint distractions. A glass reveals occasional deep-gray toning flecks, but they, too, are largely inconsequential. PCGS reports just six numerically finer examples (6/17).
