1897-S $1 MS66 PCGS. A light covering of almond-gold patina adorns this brilliant, thickly frosted Premium Gem dollar. Well-struck despite diagonal roller marks across the centers on each side. Exceptionally clean and original. While uncirculated examples are plentiful, many deriving from the Redfield hoard, PCGS has graded only 29 finer (6/17).
