Morgan Dollars
1898-O $1 MS67 PCGS. The 1898-O Morgan dollar can be located through Premium Gem with little trouble, but the population declines precipitously to only about 450 coins in MS67 (6/17). Higher-grade pieces are virtually unavailable. Orange-gold and light blue patina gravitate to the obverse margin of the present coin, ceding to mostly bluish and tan coloration at the reverse periphery. The hair over Liberty's ear is fairly strong, and the few unobtrusive grazes are within the confines of the grade designation.
