1900 $1 MS66+ PCGS. CAC. Numerous high-quality 1900 dollars are known because of the extensive bag holdings of this issue that existed at one time. However, that all-essential quality "eye appeal" can vary a great deal from one coin to another within the same technical grade. This is a lovely example and certainly high-end for the grade, as indicated both by the Plus designation and CAC endorsement. This example displays thick, satiny mint luster and no abrasions of note. The obverse is brilliant and the reverse shows streaks and dabs of golden and lilac toning.
