1904 G$1 Lewis and Clark Gold Dollar MS67 PCGS. The 1904 is the more accessible of the two Lewis and Clark gold dollars in MS66 and MS67, but it is a noted rarity in Superb Gem condition. Only an elite group from an original distribution of 10,025 pieces, including 25 coins for assay, have achieved this high grade. Glimmering peach-gold surfaces are strongly defined on the portraits with crisp dentils and minimal die erosion around the legends. A single tick on Clark's mouth is seen. Population: 22 in 67, 2 finer (6/17).
