1912-S $10 Eagle -- Obverse Lamination -- MS62 NGC. This piece is marked as an "Obverse Lamination" error on the NGC holder, although the lamination is actually only about the width of one headdress feather and actually blends well with a feather. More importantly, this is an Uncirculated 1912-S eagle, as made from the San Francisco Mint, one of the most challenging series issues to find in high grade. The surfaces are notably granular, as always seen on this issue, and significant mint frost coats each side. An even finer grade is limited only by a few small abrasions scattered over each side, none of which are of individual importance.
