Early Half Dollars
1794 50C O-101, T-7, High R.3, VG10 NGC. This Overton-101 coin has outstanding design definition for the variety, showing bold central devices that retain hair and feather detail, while also showing sharp rims and clear legends. The strike is even and wear is light for the VG level. This is a true "circulation cameo," showing deep olive-gray patina in the fields with lighter hues on the relief elements. A few tiny marks in the lower-right obverse quadrant are the only notable impairments.
