Early Half Dollars
1794 50C O-104, T-11, R.5, Good 4 PCGS. Overton-104 is a better variety, rated R.5 in its early die state (here represented) and R.6 in the late. Graded Good by PCGS, this example shows smooth pewter-gray surfaces and boldly outlined devices. All legends are readable, although the date, several stars, and AMERICA begin to merge with the rims. Some feather detail remains in the eagle's right (facing) wing.
