Early Half Dollars
1795 50C 2 Leaves, O-102, T-26, R.4, XF45 PCGS. Ex: Indiana Collection. Most Overton-102 coins are of the early die state variant, although this example shows some die erosion in the fields. The defining crack through AMERI in AMERICA of O-102a has not yet formed. This Choice XF coin shows sharp detailing of Liberty's hair curls and the eagle's wing feathers. The wreath leaves are well-defined. Bright steel-gray color blankets each side.
