1807 50C Draped Bust, O-102, T-8, R.2, AU55 PCGS. CAC. Tompkins Die State 2/2. A relatively accessible final-year Draped Bust half dollar variety with a distinctively shaped letter Y in LIBERTY. This example is strongly lustrous for the Choice AU grade. Light gold-to-peach overtones cover the silver-gray obverse most of the obverse while the reverse displays sharp silver fields and smoke-gray raised devices. Rub is found mostly on the highest design elements. CAC endorsed and sharp.
