Bust Half Dollars
1807 50C Capped Bust, Small Stars, O-113a, R.3, AU58 PCGS. The Small Stars O-113a is a considerable challenge to locate in higher grades and once found, the coin tends to remain in strong hands for a lengthy stay. This attractive, near-Mint example is just a whisper short of full Mint State. Sharply defined and still lustrous, the Small Stars are razor-sharp and only a touch of wear at the uppermost design features is visible with a glass. Light, reddish-gold toning displays lilac overtones for terrific eye appeal. Population (all O-113 die states): 4 in 58 (1 in 58+), 10 finer (6/17).
