Bust Half Dollars
1809 50C Normal Edge, O-105, R.2, AU55 PCGS. Moderately toned in iridescent colors, this Choice Overton-105 is sharp and attractive. Shades of blue, violet, and reddish-gold highlight the pleasing coloration. As with many 1809 halves, the eagle's left wing is slightly soft -- a function of design revisions -- yet the stars are pinpoint sharp and nearly full details remain on the cap folds and drapery lines. A die line from the lowest olive leaf and another above star 5 confirm the variety.
