Bust Half Dollars
1809 50C Normal Edge, O-106, R.3, AU58 PCGS. Excellent mint luster remains across the sharply struck surfaces of this borderline Uncirculated O-106 half. Attractive reddish-tan toning adds strong eye appeal. A die crack along the left-hand stars is diagnostic for most examples of the variety, which is rare in its prime state without the crack. The left base of N in UNITED is recut to confirm the O-106 attribution.
