Bust Half Dollars
1810 50C O-104a, R.3, AU58 PCGS. A die crack at the top of D STATE is the pick-up point for the O-104a late die stage. Strong luster remains across smooth, attractively toned surfaces of this near-Mint State example. Cobalt blue at the rims frames the amber-gold interiors with sharply struck design elements. We believe the variety approaches R.4 in its later die stage based on the infrequent auction appearances.
