Bust Half Dollars
1814/3 50C O-101a, R.2, AU50 PCGS. Struck from cracked and clashed dies, this late die state example of the overdate is attractive for the assigned grade with shades of blue, violet, and reddish-tan toning. Sharp definition remains despite 10 points of wear. Tiny marks are visible with a glass on the otherwise smooth surfaces that at one time were reflective. Well centered with nearly full milling all around.
