Bust Half Dollars
1828 50C Square Base 2, Small 8s, Large Letters, O-122, R.3, AU58 PCGS. A patch of die lines intersect in a crisscross pattern to the left of the date, and a die defect at the rim between stars 5 and 6 confirm the O-122 obverse. The M in AMERICA has a clockwise rotation on the reverse, while the denomination shows a huge C. This is a brilliant and lustrous example with a few small areas of deep-gray toning. The overall strike is sharp except for flatness on the right-hand stars.
