Bust Half Dollars
1836 50C Lettered Edge, O-101a, R.1, MS63 NGC. A die crack from the left edge through the olive leaves and upward to the leg feathers defines the Overton-101a late die stage. This richly toned Select Uncirculated coin is sharply struck with appealing satin luster beneath sea-green, cerulean-blue, and coppery-gold toning. The stars are fully formed. A small streak of struck-in grease beneath star 13 is the only mark of note.
