Proof Franklin Half Dollars
1950 50C PR67 Cameo NGC. The design elements exhibit razor-sharp striking definition throughout, and imposing white-on-black contrast exists on each side between intensely frosted devices and deeply mirrored fields. A few tiny nicks on the Liberty Bell preclude an even loftier grade assessment. This issue is rare at the current grade level, and finer examples are virtually unobtainable. Census: 16 in 67 Cameo (1 in 67+, 2 in 67★, 1 in 67+★), 2 finer (6/17).
