Trade Dollars
1875 T$1 Type Two Reverse MS63 NGC. No berry under the claw, as usual. The Mint's Trade dollar output declined to 218,200 coins in 1875, much lower than the totals at Carson City and San Francisco. All Mint State pieces are very scarce, and anything finer than this brilliant Select Uncirculated offering qualifies as rare. Radiant luster glistens throughout. The branch hand, foot, and eagle's feathers are razor-sharp. Die cracks encircle the reverse legends. Relatively clean fields for the grade. Census: 17 in 63, 29 finer (6/17).
