(1942) 1C Blue Ridge Glass Corporation Aqua Glass Token, RB 42-70-T-4, R.8, MS64 NGC. 2.17 grams, 19.21 mm. (vertical), Specific Gravity 2.46. A very slight magenta appearance is noted on this Blue Ridge Glass Corporation token that exhibits an indistinct image of the factory on the obverse. The reverse has no design. The extensive cracks and crazing on this piece illustrates the challenge of glass coinage production.
