Gold Dollars
1862 G$1 MS66 PCGS. CAC. This must be one of the prettiest 1862 gold dollars to have survived from a mintage of 1.3 million coins. Each side maintains overtly original honey-gold coloration and scintillating mint luster. Fully impressed on the cotton bolls, curls, and wreath elements. Struck from slightly rotated dies. Population: 37 in 66 (3 in 66+), 7 finer. CAC: 18 in 66, 8 finer (6/17).
