1893 $2 1/2 MS66 PCGS. CAC. A gorgeous Premium Gem example of this lower-mintage issue, one of only a few surviving from the production of 30,000 coins. This example is tied for second-finest certified by PCGS, one of only 31 at this grade level (6/17). The sharp strike and excellent luster create abundant eye appeal, but the two-toned light-pink and greenish-gold coloration puts this piece over the top in desirability. A superlative type coin.
