1863-S $20 AU55 NGC. CAC. As the CAC green label indicates, this Choice AU 1863-S double eagle is in the upper reaches of its assigned grade, showing highly lustrous fields and remarkably little high-point friction. A few small marks are present, but the coin is largely smooth and attractive. Type One San Francisco twenties rarely come this attractive, even in Mint State grades. Housed in a prior generation holder. CAC: 11 in 55, 38 finer (6/17).
