EGYPT. 500 Piastres, AH 1340 (1922). British Royal Mint. NGC PROOF-58.
Fr-25; KM-342. Upon the end of the British Protectorate in February of 1922, Fuad ascended the throne as the Sultanate of Egypt and immediately took the title of King Fuad. Signs of mishandling consistent with the grade showing light wispy hairlines in the fields and a touch of friction on the high points. Well struck as would be expected being a Heaton mint product. NGC PROOF-58.
Estimate: $2000.00- $3000.00
