HONDURAS. 5 Pesos, 1897 (9/8). NGC MS-64.
Fr-6; KM-53. EXTREMELY RARE date and tied for finest certified with only two other examples. Less than a handful of specimens are known to exist. Sharply struck with good definition of the fine details and lovely satiny surfaces. Truly an excellent example and though graded the same as the Louis E. Eliasberg specimen the present piece has far better eye appeal, strike and without any spots or uneven toning. Clearly an example that is well preserved and was undisturbed for many years. Highly desirable and with a fabulous provenance. NGC MS-64.
