MEXICO. 2 Centavos, 1922-Mo. NGC MS-63 BN.
KM-419. Tied for finest certified at NGC or PCGS. EXTREMELY RARE in this high state of preservation. Seldom encountered key date of the 2 Centavos series. It seems most likely that the mint produced the dies and struck a small quantity intended for circulation, but never received an order from the Banco de Mexico for mass production as there are no mintage records listed for this issue. The few pieces that found their way into circulation endured heavy use and are normally encountered well worn and with corrosion. A seldom available opportunity to acquire this iconic Mexican rarity.
