Approximately 78 mm Dia-1528.1. Opening of Alexander III Monument in Moscow. Bust of Alexander III to left, name, title and vital dates around; Reverse: View of monument to Alexander III, with tribute message by Emperor Nicholas II and completion date around. RARE. Well struck with lovely matte surfaces displaying a soft grey tone which deepens to an attractive slate amongst to the devices. Quite a bit nicer than normally found for this massive silver medal and highly desirable as such. PCGS SP-55 Secure Holder.
