Bust of Louis XIV facing right (13th Bust of the King), signed by Jean Mauger below the truncation; Reverse: The personal motto of Louis XIV, the "Sun King" NEC PLURIBUS IMPAR (without equal) above a radiant sun-face, the globe and clouds below. Dated in Roman numerals below the globe. Noted as "Cleaned" by PCGS, but the evidence of this is slight - just some old hairlines, typical for medals of this period.
