VENEZUELA. Order of the Bust of Bolivar, ND (Established 1854).
Werlich-1324 & 1326. Neck Badge and Breast Star set in plush presentation case. The silver Breast Star is 75 X 82 mm with the Venezuelan Arms on the central oval medallion. On the reverse a single hinged tunic pin and an oval plaque inscribed "AU PALAIS ROYAL / S. PICARD & CO. / CARACAS". The 59 mm (including ball hanger) X 47.5 mm gilt silver Neck Badge shows a bust of Bolivar facing right, his name and a simple wreath on a blue enamel ribbon around. A 38 X 440 mm (excluding ties) cravat accompanies the badge. The case, while essentially complete, is broken and the exterior is suffering tape removal damage. The red, blue and yellow silk cravat is slightly soiled, the Star and Badge EXTREMELY FINE.
