KINGS of PARTHIA. Mithradates I. 165-132 BC. AR Drachm (21mm, 4.02 g, 12h). Aspeionos (Areia [Herat]) mint. Struck circa 165-149 BC. Diademed bust left, wearing bashlyk / Archer (Arsakes I) seated right on throne, holding bow; A in exergue. Cf. Sellwood 10 (unlisted control letter), otherwise unpublished. VF, toned, traces of find patina. Well centered. Extremely rare, none in the PDC database.
