CHINA. Kirin. 7 Mace 2 Candareens (Dollar), CD (1901). NGC EF-40.
L&M-536; K-423; Y-183a.1; WS-0430. Regular "S", dot in left Manchu character. It also appears that the "I" of PROVINCE is over a "C" with evidence of a crescent just to the left. An interesting variety that the cataloger was unaware of and does not appear to be published in the outstanding specialized work by Mr. Wang Chunli "Illustrated catalog of China's Jilin province silver coins" published 2010. Deep tone in the peripheries and amongst the devices of the obverse while the reverse has more of an even tone throughout. NGC EF-40.
Estimate: $1000.00- $1500.00
